About

Our Design Ethos
Great design perpetually embraces and emerges from inspiration, conversation and the mutual exchange of ideas.

This is why ALEX JØRGENSEN STUDIO listens carefully to the needs of each individual client in order to meet the requirements for every space and enhance their lifestyle and home through designs that merge the beautiful with the practical.

We believe interior architecture is an essential part of the interior design process together with a respect for the building and local vernacular. Working closely together with skilled craftsmen and trades we create multi layered spaces that consider all elements, both together and on their own merit.

A clear vision from concept through to completion ensures both exceptional attention to detail and efficiency during each project resulting in homes that are timeless, elegant and comfortable.

About
Born in Copenhagen Alex skilfully introduces a Scandinavian aesthetic and simplicity to English homes, whilst specialising in creating classic contemporary interiors.

Alex loves the details that make each project feel unique and has a great understanding of space and proportions helping him to create spaces that work on a human scale for both the individual and the many. A great eye for colour, textures and textiles together with a strong appreciation of antiques and craftsmanship helps him create homes that are layered and sophisticated.

Alex trained at the prestigious Inchbald School of Design and graduated with distinction, as well as receiving the Tim Gosling Prize for Best End of Year Project and the Veedon Fleece winning entry for best rug design.

Following a number of successful years at a highly renowned interior design firm in Knightsbridge, Alex set up his own studio in Spring 2019. Current commissions include amongst others private client work on a Decimus Burton villa, a large country house and commercial work for one of London’s top hotel groups.
